CHARTWELL (3) On a short turnaround. Hit the line well when 4th last time at the track. Will be competitive. MATERIALIST (6) Made some ground when 5th last run around here and has a good draw. Tracking very well this preparation. Expected to be flashing home. Each way bet at a price. FIRST MAN (5) Sub-standard effort when 6th last run at Atherton but can save some energy from the alley. Interesting gear change of blinkers off first time. Should jump out and bowl along. Needs some luck and is an each way suggestion.
